Logistics Operations Director (3Pl)

Industry: Logistics Conducive Working Environment Location: East Responsibilities: Led a multi-site contract logistics portfolio, providing strategic direction and operational leadership across multiple facilities. Developed and mentored senior leadership teams, driving operational excellence and succession planning. Partnered with Commercial, Business Development, and Solution Design teams to support business growth, key tenders, and new customer implementations. Directed workforce planning and organizational strategies to ensure scalability and long-term business sustainability. Spearheaded digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and customer value. Held overall responsibility for P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability improvement across the portfolio. Served as the executive point of contact for key regional and global customers, ensuring strong partnerships and service excellence. Led warehouse expansion, infrastructure planning, automation projects, and CAPEX investments to support business growth. Fostered cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Engineering, IT, HR, and Commercial teams to drive efficiency and business success.. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline is required. MBA or Master’s Degree will be an added advantage. At least 12–15 years of leadership experience within a leading 3PL, contract logistics, or supply chain environment. Strong track record in managing large multi-site operations, leading senior operational teams, and driving business growth and operational excellence. Experience in P&L management, customer stakeholder engagement, and large-scale transformation initiatives. Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities. Exposure to automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives within logistics operations will be highly advantageous.
