We are seeking a skilled Linux Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise Linux-based infrastructure across data centre environments. The role focuses on RHEL/Linux system administration, automation, performance tuning, and platform reliability while supporting mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Linux platforms, infrastructure automation, and enterprise operations, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, production-critical environment. Key Responsibilities: Linux System Administration Install, configure, harden, patch, and maintain Linux systems (primarily RHEL-based distributions) Perform OS tuning, performance optimization, and capacity planning Ensure system security compliance (CIS benchmarks, patching, vulnerability remediation) Infrastructure Operations Manage Linux systems across development, testing, and production environments Provide Level 3 support for Linux-related incidents and issues Support high availability and disaster recovery configurations Automation & DevOps Develop and maintain automation using Ansible, Bash, and Python Automate provisioning, patching, and configuration management workflows Continuously improve system efficiency through infrastructure-as-code practices System Monitoring & Reliability Monitor system health, logs, and performance using enterprise monitoring tools Troubleshoot system bottlenecks, kernel issues, and application dependencies Ensure high system availability and uptime Hardware & Platform Support Support physical server infrastructure including installation and maintenance Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for hardware-related issues Documentation & Compliance Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and runbooks Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and audit requirements Requirement: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration in enterprise environments Core Technical Skills: Strong hands-on expertise in RHEL / Linux (LVM, networking, kernel tuning, system internals) Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible preferred) Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash) and familiarity with Python Experience working in large-scale, production environments Additional Skills (Preferred): Familiarity with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus Understanding of security hardening and compliance standards Red Hat certification (RHCSA/RHCE) is highly desirable ITIL certification is an advantage To apply,simply click the "Apply" button or send your updated profile to recruit@percept-solutions.com EA Licence No.:18S9405 / EA Reg.
