QC Technician

Overview: The Quality Control (QC) Technician ensures that products meet quality standards before shipment. This role involves visual and functional inspections, documentation, and communication with production and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: Perform visual inspections on mechanical and electronic components Conduct functional tests using standard testing equipment Troubleshoot test equipment problems and perform minor repairs Meet daily production QC targets Document findings and report non-conformities Work with Engineering to understand specifications and tolerances Support continuous improvement efforts in quality and process control Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area Requirements: Technical education or certification in electronics/mechanics (IPC, OSHA, SMTA cert preferred) 1–3 years of experience in a QC role in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with testing tools and quality procedures Strong documentation and communication skills Good English (reading/writing technical material) Able to see/identify small components on close-up, clearly
