Solution Architect (Private Banking & Financial Services)

Responsibilities Define end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise banking and financial services applications. Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions. Lead architecture reviews, solution design workshops, and technical governance activities. Drive modernization initiatives, including migration from monolithic applications to microservices-based architectures. Design secure, scalable, and resilient APIs and integration solutions. Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to banking regulations and security standards. Review vendor-delivered solutions and conduct code quality assessments. Lead performance optimization and application scalability initiatives during design and implementation phases. Mentor development teams and establish architecture best practices, standards, and design patterns. Support cloud adoption strategies and DevOps implementation initiatives. Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. Skills/Requirement Strong hands-on experience in Java (JDK 8–17), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, REST/SOAP APIs, SQL/PLSQL, and JavaScript . Expertise in modern UI technologies such as React.js, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery . Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, OpenShift, Linux , and DevOps best practices. Solid knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, Spring JPA, MyBatis, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, and TIBCO MQ for enterprise integrations. Prior experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Trade Finance, FSCM, Core Banking Integration, or Banking Platforms , with excellent stakeholder management and team leadership skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering (Master's degree preferred) with proven experience delivering large-scale transformation programs in the banking domain.
