Payments Operations Specialist (Cross-Border / Remittance)

Job Details: Contract Duration: 6 Months to Perm Location: Clarke Quay Job Descriptions: Merchant Management Manage end-to-end merchant onboarding, including KYC review, account setup, agreement execution, and system integration. Provide ongoing account support and resolve merchant operational and service-related issues. Conduct periodic account reviews to ensure compliance and service quality. Payment & Remittance Operations Process and monitor cross-border payment and remittance transactions, ensuring accurate and timely settlement. Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, settlement exceptions, and operational issues. Coordinate with banking partners and internal teams to support smooth payment operations. Operations & Project Support Support process improvements, operational workflow enhancements, and new product implementations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on operational initiatives, system upgrades, and projects. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate operational records, reconciliations, reports, and SOPs. Prepare operational and management reports as required. General Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory developments, and payment technologies. Perform other operational and administrative duties as assigned. Requirements Experience in payments, remittance, fintech, banking, or financial services is preferred. Knowledge of cross-border payments, remittance operations, FX, or settlement processes is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity with payment platforms, APIs, or system integrations is a plus.
