Ifc Engineer – 12 Months Contract

Job Description Fixing SAST and other security vulnerabilities Bug fixes and performance optimisation QC rule updates and validation logic enhancements and deployment if required Docker image updates and ECR repository management Integration work on SHIP/HATS GitLab Integration support for new IFC file formats or standards if required User support and troubleshooting Key Requirements Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline Relevant 3–6 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in backend, systems, or performance-oriented development roles Strong programming experience in C++ and Python within production environments Experience in debugging, optimisation, and supporting live systems Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud deployment (AWS preferred) Exposure to structured data processing, engineering systems, or IFC/BIM-related domains is an advantage Strong proficiency in C++ with expertise in high-performance, systems-level development Strong proficiency in Python with experience in data processing, automation, and testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest) Experience working in Linux-based development environments Strong understanding of debugging, performance tuning, and production issue analysis in complex systems Experience with multi-threaded or low-latency architectures Experience with IfcOpenShell C++ library for IFC file processing and manipulation Understanding of IFC/BIM domain, including IFC4 schemas and BIM workflows across disciplines Docker and containerisation (multi-stage builds, optimisation) CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) AWS services: ECS Fargate, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, IAM, CloudWatch Terraform for Infrastructure as Code Interested candidates, please click on the following link to begin your job search journey and submit your curriculum vitae (CV) directly.
