About this role

Main Responsibilities The Medical Manager, Oncology is based in Singapore and has responsibility for the Oncology portfolio across Singapore and the Philippines. The role drives medical excellence and scientific engagement through the execution of Medical Affairs strategies, external stakeholder engagement, and medical projects, while partnering closely with local, regional, and cross-functional teams. External Medical & Scientific Engagement Develop and execute field medical engagement strategies aligned with Oncology Medical Affairs objectives. Establish and maintain scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals, key external experts, and relevant stakeholders. Facilitate scientific exchange and ensure effective communication of clinical and scientific data. Capture and communicate actionable medical insights to support medical and business decision-making. Plan and execute advisory boards, scientific meetings, educational programs, and training workshops. Represent Medical Affairs at local, regional, and international scientific congresses and conferences. Medical Projects & External Collaborations Partner with Medical Affairs colleagues and cross-functional teams to deliver medical projects and external collaborations in a timely and compliant manner. Coordinate required internal and external processes, including documentation, system administration, activity tracking, payments, materials management, and product shipment where applicable. Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards. Support local, regional, and international Medical Affairs initiatives and special projects as assigned. Pfizer-Sponsored Research Support the planning and execution of Pfizer-sponsored research activities, including post-marketing studies where applicable. Ensure compliance with operational, ethical, and regulatory requirements for research activities. Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders to facilitate study implementation and completion. Medical Excellence & Capability Building Provide scientific training on disease areas, products, and therapeutic knowledge to internal stakeholders as appropriate. Support capability development initiatives across Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams. Participate in internal and external training programs to continuously strengthen scientific and professional expertise. Develop, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to field medical activities. Assess and communicate the impact and value of medical engagement activities through insight generation and stakeholder feedback. Leadership & Strategic Support Support the Category Medical Lead in driving Medical Affairs strategy, operational excellence, and team effectiveness. Contribute to the development and execution of Medical Affairs objectives and strategic priorities. Provide coaching and guidance to Medical Affairs colleagues where appropriate. Serve as a scientific and strategic partner to cross-functional teams in support of business and patient-focused objectives. Undertake additional Medical Affairs responsibilities as assigned by the Category Medical Lead. Required Qualifications & Experience Advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare discipline; medical degree preferred. Minimum 4 years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry; Oncology experience preferred. Strong medical and scientific knowledge, with a good understanding of clinical research and drug development. Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
