Reporting to Trading Lead, Global LPG, the LPG Trader will be part of the Singapore NGL Trading team and work closely with regional and global NGL traders to support the identification, evaluation and execution of LPG trading strategies that contribute to profitability and position optimization across regional and global markets. Key responsibilities include market and position analysis, trade execution, risk monitoring/management and acting as a liaison across front-, middle- and back-office functions to ensure accurate and efficient trade capture, position management and operational execution. The role will focus primarily on LPG trading while providing backup coverage for Naphtha trading activities as required. What You’ll Do Support the Trading Lead, Global LPG and NGL Trader in identifying, evaluating and executing Global LPG Trading strategies while developing commercial and trading expertise. Negotiate with counterparties to execute spot and term physical and financial transactions within delegated trading authorities and risk limits. Perform risk and position analysis and act as a liaison across front-, middle- and back-office functions to ensure accurate position reporting and trade capture. Work closely with the Naphtha trader and provide backup coverage as required. Enter transactions into trading systems and support the creation and maintenance of physical and financial hedging programs daily. Develop expertise primarily in East of Suez LPG and Naphtha markets through mentorship from the Trading Lead and senior traders. What You’ll Bring – Required Bachelor’s Degree or higher 5+ years of energy industry experience, including at least 2+ years of LPG experience Understanding of pricing and volume exposures and tools/strategies for managing risks Knowledge of LPG cargo and shipping operations and economics Knowledge of LPG supply-demand fundamentals and analytical techniques. Advanced computer skills Strategic thinker with a strong interest in Energy and global markets Results-oriented with ability to think and act decisively and independently under changing circumstances Team player with analytical and entrepreneurial mindset ready to thrive under pressure.
