Role Overview The Lead Client Account Manager, Greater China Region , is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of high-value advertisers, driving sustainable revenue growth, and deepening strategic relationships with flagship partners across the region. You will combine strong commercial acumen, data-driven storytelling, and deep platform expertise to help clients achieve their business objectives on Pinterest. In this role, you’ll also provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other account managers to ensure best-in-class client service and performance. What you’ll do: Lead and mentor a team of Client Account Managers, providing coaching, feedback, and development support to elevate overall client delivery and performance. Own and execute strategic account plans for key Greater China export advertisers, aligning with their business priorities, identifying growth opportunities, and proactively addressing risks. Build and deepen senior-level relationships with flagship partners, becoming a trusted advisor on media strategy, measurement, and full-funnel performance. Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams (e.g., Engineering, Measurement & Insights, Product Marketing, Creative Strategy, Performance Solutions), ensuring partner needs are clearly communicated and met. Develop a deep understanding of each partner’s business, turning data into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations that drive measurable outcomes. Become an expert in Pinterest campaign best practices — especially lower-funnel and performance solutions — and serve as a go-to resource for optimization and performance strategy. Drive results by monitoring and optimizing campaigns across targeting, bidding, creative, and measurement, and by providing clear, regular performance updates to partners. Lead client meetings end-to-end: uncover objectives and challenges, present complex solutions in a clear and structured way, and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities that support and exceed revenue targets. Advise key advertisers on holistic media strategies, including audience strategy, bidding models, creative formats, attribution, and alpha/beta testing opportunities. Provide expert guidance on Pinterest ad products and features, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the product roadmap and clearly articulating value to clients; engage cross-functional partners to resolve product-related questions when needed. Use AI-driven tools and platforms to continuously monitor campaign health, identify growth opportunities, and flag potential issues early, ensuring a seamless and efficient client experience. Champion the adoption of new AI-powered solutions within the team and with clients, sharing best practices and learnings to drive better performance and operational efficiency. What we’re looking for: 7–10 years of experience in digital advertising or media sales, managing high-value client relationships, leading strategic learning agendas, and owning end-to-end client communication. Experience with Greater China export advertisers is highly desirable.
