Operation Specialist

Key Responsibilities Create, process, and manage purchase orders for raw materials, components, and services in accordance with procurement policies. Source, evaluate, negotiate with, and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with production planning to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory. Resolve purchasing and receiving discrepancies with the finance team, including invoices, packing lists, and receiving reports. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including carrier scheduling, shipment tracking, preparation of shipping documentation, and final packing. Work closely with freight forwarders and third‑party logistics providers to optimize transportation costs and delivery timelines. Ensure compliance with import and export regulations, customs requirements, and company policies, and maintain accurate shipping records. Oversee receiving activities, including unloading, inspection, staging, and movement of materials to warehouse locations. Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct monthly physical counts, reconcile variances, and update inventory systems. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma in Business or other relevant tertiary qualification, with a minimum of three years of relevant working experience. Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory control, and warehouse operations. Proficient in enterprise resource planning systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
