We are now inviting passionate individuals to join our dynamic team as a Transfer Agency Assistant Manager . In this role, your main responsibilities will include but not limited to: Client Engagement Manage and maintain day-to-day communications with internal and external stake holders eg. investors, investment managers, auditors, compliance. Service Delivery Adhere to Portcullis internal control procedures when performing AML/KYC review of investors, including review of investor documentation and liaison with investors and investment managers to ensure documents are complete and in good order. Review and validate investor risk ratings, and conduct periodic (and event-driven) reviews of investor KYC documents and risk classifications. Review and sign off on investor screening results, ensuring accurate disposition of potential matches and appropriate escalation of true hits. Oversee the processing and maintenance of the investor share registry, ensuring all capital transactions (subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, drawdowns, and distributions) are accurately recorded. Understand common fund terminology and capital activities for both open and close-ended funds. Ensure client queries are attended to promptly and professionally. Be responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures. Prepare and review operational memorandums and ensure compliance with transfer agency procedures. Manage internal workflow to ensure internal processing and client deliverables are met timely and accurately. People Management Demonstrate good management skills and the ability to work well in a team setting. Able to guide and mentor junior members of the team and motivates them to develop interest in learning. Assist with development and training all levels of transfer agency team members, ensuring team competency and adequate knowledge. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: A University Degree or Polytechnic Diploma holder in accounting, legal, finance, economics or a related discipline. At least 3 years or more of experience in a compliance or transfer agency role within a fund setting. Familiar with Know-Your-Client and Anti-Money-Laundering regulations and guidelines. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Good organisational and time management skills. Ability to perform within tight deadlines. Diligent and meticulous with an eye for detail. Proactive and responsible. Strong written & verbal communication skills in English is a must. Additional language skills would be beneficial.
