Job Description · Manage and oversee a portfolio of outsourced accounting, finance, tax and corporate secretarial clients. · Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and build strong, long-term professional relationships. · Lead client engagements independently ensuring timely delivery of quality services. · Supervise, guide and review the work performed by Account Associates and other finance team members. · Allocate work among team members, monitor progress, and ensure engagements are completed within agreed timelines. · Review full sets of accounts, management accounts, GST returns, financial statements and other deliverables prepared by the team. · Handle complex accounting matters, technical accounting issues, group consolidations and financial reporting engagements. · Provide technical guidance to team members on accounting standards, tax, GST and corporate compliance matters. · Coordinate with clients, auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial team and regulatory authorities where necessary. · Review and ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST regulations, Companies Act and other relevant statutory requirements. · Monitor engagement budgets, project timelines and resource planning to ensure efficient service delivery. · Identify opportunities to improve clients' finance processes, internal controls and operational efficiency. · Coach, mentor and develop junior team members through on-the-job guidance and training. · Review and improve existing work processes, standard operating procedures and internal controls. · Participate in business development initiatives, including identifying opportunities to provide additional professional services to existing clients. · Keep abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax legislation and regulatory requirements. · Perform any other duties and special projects assigned by the Partner or Director. Job Requirements Degree in Accountancy, Finance, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in outsourced accounting, finance, audit or professional services environment. Previous experience supervising or leading a team will be highly advantageous. Strong technical knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, Companies Act and corporate compliance requirements. Experience in handling full sets of accounts, management reporting, statutory financial statements and group consolidations. Experience managing a portfolio of clients independently. Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Strong client relationship management and stakeholder management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Able to work independently with minimal supervision while leading a team effectively. Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proactive, resourceful, organised and committed to delivering high-quality client service. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software. Familiarity with cloud accounting systems (such as Xero, QuickBooks, AutoCount or similar) will be an advantage. External audit experience will be an added advantage. Candidates with corporate secretarial or tax exposure will have an added advantage.
