Microsoft Intune L1 Support Engineer About the Role We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Microsoft Intune L1 Support Engineer to provide first-level technical support for endpoint management and modern workplace technologies. The successful candidate will assist in managing Microsoft Intune environments, troubleshoot endpoint issues, support device enrollment, and ensure a seamless end-user experience across Windows and mobile devices. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Microsoft Endpoint Management and eager to build a career in Modern Workplace technologies. Key Responsibilities Provide Level 1 technical support for Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager environments. Troubleshoot endpoint management issues involving Windows 10/11, iOS, Android, and macOS devices. Support device enrollment using Windows Autopilot, Apple Business Manager, and Android Enterprise. Assist users with Microsoft Intune enrollment, application deployment, and compliance-related issues. Monitor device compliance, security policies, and configuration profiles. Perform software deployment, patch management, and application troubleshooting through Intune. Support Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) device registration and user authentication issues. Escalate complex incidents to Level 2 or Level 3 engineers with appropriate documentation. Maintain accurate incident records, knowledge articles, and technical documentation. Meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure timely issue resolution. Participate in system maintenance, health checks, and operational support activities. Required Skills & Experience 1–3 years of experience in IT Service Desk, Desktop Support, or Endpoint Support. Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Intune. Basic knowledge of: Conditional Access Mobile Device Management (MDM)Mobile Application Management (MAM) Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 applications. Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS fundamentals. Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals (MS-900) Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) ITIL Foundation Certification Experience supporting hybrid Azure AD and on-premises Active Directory environments. Exposure to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is an advantage. Technical Skills Microsoft Intune Microsoft Endpoint Manager Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) Windows 10 & Windows 11 Microsoft 365 Windows Autopilot Microsoft Defender for Endpoint BitLocker Active Directory Group Policy (GPO) PowerShell (basic scripting preferred) ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platform Soft Skills Excellent customer service orientation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple incidents. Team player with a willingness to learn. Strong attention to detail. Problem-solving mindset.
