About this role

Job Summary Lead and manage projects involving system enhancements, maintenance, and upgrades within scope and budget. Oversee technical teams, ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations, and drive customer engagement to deliver reliable security and surveillance solutions. Responsibilities Manage projects from existing accounts involving system enhancements, upgrades, or modifications within defined scope and budget Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance activities aligned with budget and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Ensure system reliability, maintainability, and compliance with contractual obligations, technical specifications, and codes of practice Drive obsolescence management initiatives, including timely system upgrades and documentation of modifications Submit accurate monthly maintenance reports and billing punctually Attend maintenance meetings with customers to review performance and address concerns Align maintenance practices and deliverables with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) Prepare project and maintenance proposals, compliance submissions, and manpower estimates to support tender participation Manage change requests balancing user requirements and operational constraints Provide regular progress updates and communicate goals and milestones clearly to internal stakeholders and customers Collaborate with principals to provide presales support and implement client-focused solutions Optimize staff deployment across teams to maximize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and profitability Guide teams to ensure consistent work quality and adherence to organizational standards Enforce compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and other regulatory requirements Promote proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), timely incident reporting, and proactive risk management Establish site-specific safety procedures and cultivate a strong safety-first culture among staff Manage, coach, and develop technical support engineers and technicians, ensuring training and competency Supervise sub-contractors to maintain professional standards of work Communicate KPIs and performance expectations clearly to team members Prepare annual maintenance budgets, forecasts, and CapEx proposals; monitor expenditures for financial compliance and profitability Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager Required competencies and certifications Strong project management skills to foresee potential problems and provide resolutions Good IT project management skills with experience in CCTV systems Skills in people management and employee development to lead technical teams effectively Good negotiation and partner/sub-contractor management skills Understanding of Singapore security and surveillance sector, technologies, and their applications Full understanding of design and approval processes Strong technical knowledge with certification on in-house products Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Ability to work independently within guidelines and defined procedures Problem-solving skills to resolve issues within guidelines Preferred competencies and qualifications Minimum Degree qualification in a technical discipline Experience managing projects involving multiple sub-services and diverse stakeholders Good understanding of government procurement cycles Proactive customer engagement skills to explore new ideas and respond to enquiries Constantly updated knowledge of new security threats, technologies, and applications
