Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to champion quality excellence across our entire Business Unit. In this critical leadership role, you will partner directly with the R&D team to embed quality standards from the very beginning of the product lifecycle. You will act as the primary driver of continuous improvement, ensuring that everything from our product development to customer delivery meets the highest possible standards. Core Responsibilities Strategic Quality Leadership: Define clear quality targets for the Business Unit and actively support various departments in hitting these goals. You will champion a strong, organization-wide culture of quality awareness. End-to-End Oversight: Manage comprehensive quality activities across the BU, covering product development, inventory management, product transitions, sales support, and customer requirements. R&D Partnership: Collaborate with the R&D division to integrate quality planning at the earliest stages of design. You will organize and lead critical stage-gate review meetings throughout the development phase. Process Optimization: Develop, refine, and upgrade our quality systems and project workflows. You will focus specifically on standardizing and enhancing Integrated Product Development (IPD) processes. Risk & Compliance Management: Audit projects for process compliance and lead technical review assessments. You will proactively identify risks, monitor performance metrics, and enforce robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Issue Resolution: Take ownership of major customer complaints and critical product quality issues, ensuring thorough investigations, effective follow-ups, and definitive closures. Data-Driven Improvement: Leverage data analytics to pinpoint systemic bottlenecks and drive continuous process improvements. Team Enablement: Conduct ongoing process training to strengthen the technical and quality capabilities of the wider team. Professional Qualifications & Skills Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical or engineering discipline. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in quality management, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. Direct experience in R&D quality is highly advantageous. Cross-Discipline Knowledge: A solid technical understanding of development lifecycles across hardware, software, FPGA, and mechanical engineering. Quality Frameworks: Deep expertise in ISO9001 standards and proven application of advanced quality tools, including 8D, APQP, FMEA, Six Sigma, QCC, and standard QC methodologies. IPD Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Integrated Product Development (IPD) processes. Candidates who have actively set up or implemented IPD frameworks will have a distinct advantage.
