Operating out of a well-equipped facility in Singapore, they are highly recognized for their strict adherence to safety and excellence, holding multiple prestigious ISO and GMP certifications. about the job As a Senior Chemist, you will take on a critical role responsible for developing new product formulations and enhancing existing ones. Formulation & Innovation: Researching and developing new formulations for local and international clients while driving optimization projects to improve product performance, stability, and cost efficiency. Regulatory Compliance: Acting as the company Regulatory Officer to ensure all consumer products comply with the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive (ACD), and managing product notification submissions to the Health Sciences Authority (HSA), Singapore. Technical Documentation: Preparing essential technical documentation, including Product Data Sheets (PDS), Certificates of Analysis (COA), and Safety Data Sheets (SDS), while providing technical support to Sales & Marketing teams. Validation & Testing: Conducting product validation for new or modified formulations, troubleshooting quality and microbial issues, and coordinating advanced testing (such as stability, antimicrobial efficacy, skin irritation, and antiviral tests) with local and overseas laboratories. Audits & Quality Systems: Conducting supplier audits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and representing the department as a committee member for ISO and EU MDR compliance initiatives. Complaint Resolution: Assisting in the investigation of internal and external customer complaints and preparing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) . about the manager/team You will be working as part of a dedicated R&A team focused on supporting product development, quality, and compliance activities. skills and experience required Bachelor Degree in Pharmaceutical, Chemistry, or Cosmetic Science, coupled with a professional background in the medical industry. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in product formulation and laboratory testing, preferably within the consumer chemical, disinfectant, or personal care sectors. Strong technical skills in formulation development, stability testing, and microbial evaluation. Hands-on experience conducting internal audits, supplier audits, or certification audits. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with a proven ability to mentor junior staff and drive continuous improvement.
