Maintenance Engineering Manager(Plastics Injection Molding)

about the job Lead equipment reliability, technical troubleshooting, and maintenance excellence at a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing site. Direct and manage the maintenance team responsible for production equipment, with a primary focus on plastic injection molding machines, automation systems, auxiliaries, and plant support equipment. Ensure high machine uptime, rapid problem resolution, and compliant operations across the facility. Perform and oversee the troubleshooting of complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems specific to plastic injection molding machinery. Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Tooling, Automation, and Engineering teams to stabilize daily operations and drive continuous improvement in plant performance. Develop, enforce, and optimize rigorous preventive maintenance schedules and strict contamination-control disciplines. knowledge and skills Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Facilities Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Can commence immediate or within short notice period Min 10 years of relevant experience in maintenance, facilities, or engineering operations, preferably within manufacturing, medical devices, precision engineering, electronics, or other regulated industries. Strong, proven expertise in plastic injection molding equipment is mandatory, including in-depth knowledge of advanced maintenance practices and hands-on machinery troubleshooting. Min 3 years in a leadership capacity, successfully managing internal technicians, external contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in overall production equipment maintenance, utilities management, and ensuring facility regulatory compliance. Comprehensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
