About the Job Provide specialized legal and regulatory guidance on complex international sanctions frameworks across the Asia Pacific region. Evaluate corporate transactions, client profiles, and business initiatives to identify and mitigate potential regulatory risks. Draft, update, and implement robust compliance policies and internal controls reflecting current legal standards. Investigate potential sanctions violations, draft voluntary self-disclosures, and manage regulatory reporting requirements. Deliver targeted legal updates and compliance training to senior stakeholders and operational business units. Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies on cross-border enforcement trends and compliance inquiries. Oversee administrative compliance workflows, including audit preparations, regulatory filing documentation, and internal approvals. Skills and Requirements A recognized legal degree (LL.B., JD, or equivalent) with a strong background in corporate law or financial regulation. Proven professional experience focusing on international sanctions programs, trade controls, or regulatory compliance. Deep analytical capabilities to interpret complex statutory language and apply it to operational business contexts. Excellent written communication skills for drafting legal assessments, compliance policies, and regulatory correspondence.
