Resident Physician (Geriatric / Rehabilitative Care)

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day clinical care and management for inpatients, focusing on rehabilitation, recovery, and stabilization. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and family case discussions to support integrated discharge planning. Monitor chronic conditions, functional recovery, and respond to acute medical issues in a step-down setting. Ensure documentation and compliance with institutional care standards and regulatory expectations. Contribute to a team-based culture by guiding junior staff and supporting continual service improvement. Requirements: Medical degree (MBBS or MD) accredited by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC). Fully registered with the SMC and eligible to practice in Singapore. At least 3 years of post-housemanship clinical experience. Passion for geriatric or rehabilitative care, especially in step-down or community settings. Additional training or experience in family medicine, gerontology, or palliative care is advantageous.
