Finance Manager (Education)

Roles & Responsibilities: Partner with Business Unit Managers and Centre Supervisors to analyse business performance, set financial targets, and provide insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. Oversee finance operations including review of payments, claims, and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls and approval processes. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities, including preparation of management reports and presentation materials for Board and business unit meetings. Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely completion of audit, tax, ECDA requirements, and statutory reporting obligations. Drive process improvement and system enhancement initiatives, including Power BI reporting, automation, and collaboration with vendors to strengthen efficiency, controls, and data integrity. Requirements: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent. At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance and administration, with exposure to budgeting, reporting, and audit coordination. Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable business insights. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; experience with Power BI or automation tools is an advantage. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business units, auditors, and external partners.
