Lead SEO Strategist (Digital Marketing Agency)

Roles & Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and develop a team of SEO specialists to achieve defined performance targets and maintain delivery standards. Design and execute end-to-end SEO strategies, including on-page, off-page, and technical optimisation across client portfolios. Drive Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) initiatives by optimising content for AI-driven search platforms and large language model environments. Conduct site audits, interpret findings, and translate them into actionable optimisation roadmaps and backlink strategies. Manage client engagement activities, including presentations, reporting, and alignment of SEO/GEO strategies with business objectives. Requirements: At least 5 years of SEO experience with leadership or team management capacity. Strong command of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO, including auditing, content optimisation, and link-building strategies. Familiarity with AI search ecosystems and GEO concepts across platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Proven experience handling multiple client accounts and collaborating across sales, account management, and creative teams. Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush, with strong reporting capability.
