Airfreight Manager (Alt 5.5days, CargoWise, East)

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide leadership and operational support to the Airfreight Import Customer Service team, ensuring efficient end-to-end import processes and high service standards. Oversee daily import operations, including shipment documentation, carrier coordination, customs compliance, billing, and timely job closure while ensuring adherence to established procedures. Drive process improvements by identifying workflow inefficiencies, enhancing operational performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor team performance against KPIs and SLAs, providing coaching, feedback, and escalation support where necessary. Manage customer relationships by handling complex inquiries and service escalations while collaborating closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery. Requirements: Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. At least 3 years of supervisory experience in airfreight import customer service and billing. Strong knowledge of import workflows, documentation, and customs regulations. Proficient in using CargoWise system. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to manage team performance effectively.
