Patient Billing & Claims Executive (Healthcare)

Roles & Responsibilities: Oversee patient registration, admission, discharge, and related finance administration in line with service standards. Prepare invoices, manage billing accuracy, and handle claims submission (MediShield, Medisave) with timely reconciliation. Administer receipts, donations, and financial records while ensuring compliance with internal policies. Engage patients and next‑of‑kin on outstanding balances, issuing reminders and settlement notices. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure complete documentation for billing and finance processes. Requirements: Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualification. At least 2 years of experience in healthcare finance operations — admission administration, patient billing, credit control, debt collection, and claims processing. Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP) and adaptable to new systems/software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage patients, families, and stakeholders professionally. Meticulous, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities with discretion and accountability.
