Heat Treatment / Plasma Technician (Aerospace / Manufacturing / Precision)

Roles & Responsibilities: Perform a variety of duties to plan, set up, mask, and spray parts to meet production requirements Mask and/or grit blast part to prepare for coating Use judgement in determining proper flow and speed of spray for the best results and compliance with all specifications Operate vacuum furnaces to perform heat-treat and brazing operations Maintain heat-treating logs for all furnaces and parts Ability to use various instrument to measure incoming and final coating thickness after plasma spray Follow work instructions, comply with all quality requirements and safety rules and regulations during course of duties Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area Complete production paper work and systems transactions Requirements: Nitec in Engineering or equivalent. At least 2 years of working experience in aerospace industry. Rotating shift is required.
