About this role

6 Months Contract – Middle Office Trade Support Specialist Job Responsibilities Support middle office post-trade operations across asset classes including Fixed Income, Equities, and Foreign Exchange (FX). Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement monitoring, and lifecycle events. Perform trade confirmation and settlement activities accurately while ensuring adherence to internal procedures and service level agreements. Monitor, investigate, and resolve trade exceptions, settlement breaks, and discrepancies in a timely manner. Escalate complex trade-related issues to the appropriate stakeholders and follow through until resolution. Liaise with internal teams including Front Office, Operations, Custody Settlements, Technology, and external counterparties to facilitate smooth trade processing. Ensure operational controls are maintained with a strong focus on accuracy, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance. Prepare and maintain operational reports, reconciliations, and management information as required. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen controls. Support user acceptance testing (UAT), system implementations, and process enhancement projects where required. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline. Prior experience in Trade Support, Middle Office, Investment Operations, Capital Markets Operations, or Treasury Operations will be an advantage. Good understanding of the trade lifecycle across Fixed Income, Equities, and/or FX products. Familiarity with trade confirmation, settlement processes, reconciliations, and exception management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
