Ehs Specialist (1 Year Contract, Up $6K) #Hft

We are looking for a proactive and committed EHS Specialist to support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Management System. This role will ensure compliance with company standards and Singapore regulatory requirements while promoting a strong workplace safety culture across the site. The successful candidate will act as the appointed Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) , providing professional EHS guidance to stakeholders and supporting operational excellence in areas such as biosafety, compliance, process safety, and occupational safety. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the site's EHS Management System, policies, procedures, and programs. Ensure compliance with Singapore Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), environmental, and fire safety regulations, and maintain the site's legal and regulatory register. Organize, coordinate, and deliver EHS training and awareness programs to strengthen safety culture. Coordinate monthly Workplace Safety & Health, Environmental, and Fire Safety Committee meetings. Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Assist in the investigation of workplace incidents, injuries, illnesses, and near misses, ensuring timely reporting and follow-up. Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices, recommending improvements where appropriate. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support EHS initiatives and compliance activities. Perform other EHS-related duties as assigned by management. Requirements Education Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline. Certification Mandatory Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) Level C certification recognized by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). Experience Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
