Location: Napier Working Hours Monday to Saturday Morning Half-Day Shifts: 8.00am – 1.00pm / 8.30am – 1.30pm Occasionally rostered to start as early as 7.30am Job Responsibilities Perform venepuncture and blood collection according to established procedures. Correctly identify patients and label specimens accurately. Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of blood specimens. Monitor patients during and after blood collection to ensure their safety and comfort. Maintain accurate documentation of specimen collection. Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards. Provide professional and courteous service to patients. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 6 months to 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Comfortable performing blood collection independently. Able to commit to morning half-day shifts, with flexibility to work full-day shifts when required.
