Working Hours: Monday – Friday, Staggered Office Hours Job Overview The Plaster (Cast) Technician Assistant supports the plaster technicians in delivering safe and efficient casting services. You will assist with cast procedures, prepare materials and equipment, coordinate follow-up appointments, and ensure the smooth daily operations of the plaster room while providing quality patient care. Job Responsibilities Assist plaster technicians with cast application and removal procedures. Prepare and replenish plaster room supplies, materials, and equipment. Provide basic patient assistance and explain simple care instructions when required. Arrange follow-up appointments and support patient scheduling. Assist with documentation and administrative duties related to plaster room operations. Ensure cleanliness of the plaster room and maintain proper infection prevention and control practices. Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and hospital protocols. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with patients and healthcare staff. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required. Requirements Min. Diploma in any field. Keen to learn and develop in the orthopaedic/plaster technician field. Training will be provided. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
