Key Responsibilities This role will be part of the Risk Management unit. The successful candidate will join the Operational Risk team and report to the Head of Operational Risk. The candidate will be responsible for providing operational risk monitoring, reporting and oversight within the Group. In this role, you will also be expected to assist in identifying and evaluating the risks and developing effective risk management frameworks, policies, procedures and guidelines, to facilitate efficient and effective risk monitoring, reporting and communication. Key responsibilities of this position are as follows: - Work closely with Group Non-Financial Risk Management to ensure alignment with Group policies (as adequate); - Provide advisory to subsidiaries; - Support the implementation and enhancement of internal operational risk frameworks, policies, procedures and guidelines; - Support the annual Key Risk Control Self-Assessment exercise; - Monitor and report on Key Operational Risk Indicators; - Review incident reports and conduct root-cause analysis. Track remediation actions to closure and ensure controls are strengthened to prevent recurrence; - Work closely with business units on Third party and Outsourcing Risk Management, including due diligence to be in accordance with Group guidelines and MAS Guidelines on Outsourcing; - Prepare Operational Risk reporting and analytics to Risk Committees; - Coordinate and support Business Continuity Management and Business Impact Analysis tasks; - Work in close collaboration with various business units to promote risk awareness and embed a strong risk culture throughout the Group. Requirements - Degree holder with minimum of 3 years working experience in the fund management/ banking/ insurance industry as an operational risk analyst or internal/ external auditor; - Familiar with front-to-back-office processes and controls; - Be able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines; - Meticulous, analytical and able to work independently; - A good team player who is able to effectively interact with various business units; - Drive process improvement independently; - Good written and presentation and strong interpersonal skills are essential; - Previous experience with BWISE GRC system will be an added advantage.
