Job Description • Perform pre- and post-bunker surveys onboardvessels and at shore terminals. • Accurately measure fuel quantities usingappropriate methods (ullage, temperature, density, etc.). • Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g.,ISO 22192:2021) during bunker operations. • Prepare and issue bunker survey reports anddocumentation in a timely manner. • Act as an independent verifier during fueldelivery to protect the interests of stakeholders. • Investigate and resolve quantity discrepanciesor disputes during bunkering. Qualifications • Must hold a valid Bunker Quantity Surveyor (BQS)license. • Minimum [2-5] years of experience in bunkerquantity surveying or a related marine/oil & gas role. • Strong knowledge of marine fuel systems, tankcalibration, and quantity measurement techniques. • Familiarity with maritime regulations and portauthority procedures. • Excellent communication and reporting skills. PreferredQualifications: • STCWBasic Safety Training certification. • Familiaritywith mass flow meter (MFM) systems and relevant monitoring software. • Proficiencyin report writing and digital data collection tools.
