Ehs Specialist (Pharma | 1Yr Contract | $6K) #Hjo

Job Responsibilities: Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management system. Ensure compliance with company EHS standards and Singapore regulatory requirements. Conduct workplace safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards. Organise and facilitate EHS training programmes to promote a strong safety culture across the site. Coordinate monthly workplace safety, health, environmental, and fire safety meetings. Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Maintain EHS documentation, procedures, legal registers, and compliance records. Monitor changes in EHS legislation and industry best practices, ensuring ongoing compliance. Partner with cross-functional teams to support EHS initiatives and drive continuous improvement. Perform other EHS-related duties assigned by management. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline. Valid Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) Level C certification recognised by MOM is required. Knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety & Health regulations and EHS compliance requirements. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound decision-making skills. Proactive team player with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
