We are hiring under Recruit Express headcount and details of this position are: Job Title: Roaming Desktop Support Engineer (Contract, Roaming needed, up to $3500) Client's Project Locations: Marina Bay, Changi Airport, Chua Chu Kang, Alexandra Rd, Bukit Merah Working hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm or 9am to 6pm, Mon to Fri. Half-day on Saturday with claimable OT. Job Summary We are seeking a customer-oriented Desktop Engineer who is open to roam islandwide to provide onsite IT support services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-user computing devices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting IT infrastructure, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities End-User Support Provide onsite and remote technical support to end users. Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues. Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications. Support Microsoft Office 365 applications and services. Handle user account administration, password resets, and access-related requests. Assist users with email, network connectivity, and VPN issues. Hardware& Asset Management Perform deployment, replacement, and decommissioning of IT equipment. Manage IT asset inventory and maintain accurate records. Coordinate warranty claims and vendor support activities. Conduct preventive maintenance checks on IT equipment. Incident& Service Request Management Manage incidents and service requests through the ticketing system. Ensure tickets are updated and resolved within agreed SLA timelines. Escalate complex issues to relevant support teams when necessary. Prepare incident reports and technical documentation when required. Infrastructure Support Support LAN/WAN connectivity troubleshooting. Assist with network device installation and basic troubleshooting.
