Senior Account Associate – Client Portfolio Management Salary Package: $3,800 – $4,500 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Working Location: City House Job Summary The Senior Account Associate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of accounting records, management reports, financial statements, and compliance-related submissions. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries. Prepare and review full sets of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules. Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and reconciliations. Review general ledger transactions and investigate discrepancies. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients on accounting matters. Maintain strong client relationships and provide professional accounting advice. Liaise with clients to obtain required financial information and supporting documents. Ensure all client deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed timelines. Assist clients with statutory compliance requirements. Support preparation of tax schedules and information required for tax submissions. Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. Supervise, train, and mentor junior account associates. Review work completed by junior team members to ensure accuracy and quality. Provide guidance on accounting practices and technical matters. Assist management with resource planning and workflow coordination. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency. Support implementation and enhancement of accounting systems and internal controls. Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and best practices. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent are advantageous. 3–5 years of accounting experience in an accounting firm, outsourcing firm, or professional services environment. Strong experience preparing full sets of accounts and financial reports. Proficient in accounting software such as Xero. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
