Production Supervisor π Location: Tuas π° Salary: S$2,800 β S$3,200 Basic + S$700 Shift Support Allowance + Overtime Pay + Performance Bonus π Working Schedule: 5-day work week (Monday to Friday) Day Shift: 7:45 AM β 8:00 PM Night Shift: 7:45 PM β 8:00 AM (Rotating every 2 weeks) Weekend work, when required, will be compensated with off-in-lieu. Key Responsibilities Equipment & Engineering Maintenance Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of production machinery and utility equipment, including compressors, pumps, air handling units, and electrical panels. Support preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to minimise equipment downtime. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, and coordinate repairs with external vendors when required. Assist with the installation, commissioning, and improvement of production equipment. Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory to support efficient maintenance operations. Facilities Management Oversee factory facilities, including lighting, electrical systems, HVAC, water supply, compressed air, and fire protection systems. Coordinate maintenance contractors and service providers to ensure quality and timely completion of work. Carry out minor electrical, plumbing, and general facility repairs. Support facility upgrades, renovations, and space optimisation projects. Cost & Vendor Management Monitor maintenance and engineering-related expenses. Support budget planning and maintenance cost forecasting. Work closely with Procurement to evaluate quotations and identify cost-saving opportunities. Safety & Compliance Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), ISO, and food safety standards. Maintain maintenance, calibration, inspection, and certification records. Support audits conducted by NEA, SCDF, MOM, and certification bodies, including follow-up corrective actions. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, productivity, and energy efficiency. Participate in sustainability initiatives such as energy-saving and waste reduction projects. Support engineering improvement projects that enhance factory performance and operational safety. What We're Looking For Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline. At least 2 years of experience in factory, plant maintenance, or manufacturing operations. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, compressors, mechanical maintenance, and troubleshooting. Experience coordinating contractors and maintenance vendors. Familiarity with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), ISO, or food manufacturing standards. Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Food Safety Level 1 certification is preferred.
