Our client is a well-established local manufacturer in the eye care industry, specialising in contact lens care solutions. They are looking for a QC Chemist to support laboratory testing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance to ensure products meet international quality standards. Working Hours Monday to Friday, 7:45am – 4:45pm Key Responsibilities Perform chemical and microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples. Ensure laboratory testing complies with GMP, GLP, ISO standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Investigate laboratory deviations, OOS/OOT results, and support corrective and preventive actions. Prepare, review, and maintain laboratory documentation, SOPs, test methods, and reports. Support method validation, verification, equipment qualification, and calibration activities. Assist in internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and product registrations. Monitor product quality trends and recommend continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and 5S requirements. Support other quality and laboratory-related duties assigned by the supervisor. Requirements Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. Fresh graduates with relevant chemistry laboratory internship experience are welcome to apply. Knowledge of GMP, GLP, ISO standards, or laboratory quality systems is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Meticulous, responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
