Finance Manager (Sg & Us Operations) / Central West

Our client is a growing organisation operating within the trading, distribution, and supply chain industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central West area. Job Responsibilities: Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and month-end closing activities. Manage ARAP, cash flow, banking activities, and working capital to ensure healthy financial operations. Prepare management reports, financial statements, reconciliations, and analysis to support business planning and decision-making. Support budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and financial performance monitoring across business operations. Review inventory, costing, and operational expenses while identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and financial performance. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal financial controls. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities on audit, compliance, and reporting matters. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, strengthen operational controls, and enhance business performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including finance system enhancements, reporting automation, and workflow optimisation. Perform any ad-hoc duties when required. Requirements: Min Degree in Accounting/Finance, or related discipline Min 5 years of experience managing the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions Good knowledge of financial reporting standards, internal controls, statutory compliance, and tax requirements. Exposure to US GAAP, SOX compliance, or US tax regulations will be an advantage. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across different functions and regions. Willing to travel overseas occasionally during the onboarding period and thereafter as business needs require.
