About this role

Our client is a well-established MNC within the construction and engineering sector, known for delivering large-scale building and infrastructure projects. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for M&E Manager / Director , in hopes of strengthening project delivery and technical leadership capabilities. They are located in the (Central) – easily accessible. Responsibilities: Lead overall Mechanical & Electrical functions across head office and project sites, ensuring alignment with corporate targets for revenue, project delivery, and profitability Plan and monitor tender activities including design development, technical specifications, and evaluation of subcontractor quotations Oversee preparation and submission of shop drawings, material approvals, and method statements in accordance with project timelines Manage project execution, including cost control, scheduling, and quality assurance of all M&E works Implement QA/QC procedures for ongoing and completed works, including maintenance phases Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical and operational issues Supervise and direct M&E teams, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with approved drawings and regulatory requirements Review technical drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies and issue clarifications Monitor project progress, variation orders, and report performance status to management Lead project meetings, inspections, commissioning, and defect liability period follow-ups Support design-and-build projects and implement value engineering initiatives Develop and maintain subcontractor and supplier networks Requirements: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Experience in M&E management within contractor, consultancy, or specialist firms Proven involvement in design-and-build projects and tender processes Track record in project delivery, cost control, and procurement Experience in data centres, M&E-intensive facilities, residential, or hospitality projects Familiarity with BIM and local regulatory requirements Exposure to contract administration, variation management, and green building certifications is an advantage Interested candidates who wish to apply for the advertised position, please click APPLY NOW or email an updated copy of your resume/CV.
