About this role

As the Admission Manager at Red Alpha Cybersecurity, you will play a pivotal role in managing the full admissions and candidate pipeline for the Alpha Specialist Training Programme (ASTP) and other bespoke training initiatives. You will ensure a seamless candidate experience while also supporting industry engagement, recruitment outcomes, and candidate readiness for employment. This role is primarily focused on admissions and recruitment (60%) with additional responsibilities in program management and industry engagement (40%). You will work closely with the Partnerships team members and other departmental managers to ensure trainees are not only admitted successfully but also prepared for interviews and eventual deployment. Key Responsibilities Admissions & Recruitment (60%) Pipeline & Candidate Management Manage inbound inquiries across email, LinkedIn, website, and social channels, providing timely and accurate programme information. Oversee application screening, tracking submissions, and maintaining accurate records in the admissions database. Monitor and manage the candidate funnel from inquiry to enrolment and eventual job placement readiness. Application & Interview Process Coordinate admission assessments, technical tests, and interview scheduling. Work closely with interview panels to review applicants and re-applicants, facilitating retests, re-interviews, or rejection outcomes. Track trainee contract status and ensure timely completion of agreements. Recruitment Marketing Post and refresh job/program listings on MyCareersFuture, LinkedIn, university portals, and other channels. Support sourcing initiatives through outreach to past applicants, talent communities, and referral networks. Partner with the marketing team on campaigns to attract high-quality candidates into Red Alpha programmes. Candidate Coaching & Interview Preparation Prepare shortlisted trainees for employer interviews through resume guidance, mock interviews, and coaching sessions. Support candidates in improving communication, confidence, and presentation for hiring partners. Provide structured feedback to candidates post-interview to improve employability outcomes. Industry Partnerships & Programme Support (40%) Industry & Employer Engagement Support the team in building relationships with hiring partners, universities, and industry stakeholders. Coordinate employer interviews, networking sessions, and career events. Maintain communication with partners regarding candidate pipelines and upcoming cohorts. Programme Management Support Assist the Programme Manager in training needs analysis and programme improvements. Track cohort pipeline numbers and support planning for upcoming intakes. Support onboarding of trainees into assessments, workshops, and training modules. Organise programme-related events such as networking sessions, employer briefings, and career preparation workshops. Data & Reporting Maintain accurate data on admissions, recruitment outcomes, and placement metrics. Generate simple reports on pipeline health and conversion rates. Ad Hoc Duties Provide administrative and operational support for programme delivery and trainee experience. Key Qualifications Experience At least 2-3 years experience in admissions, recruitment, talent acquisition, or programme coordination. Experience working with technical or early-career talent is a strong advantage. Recruitment & Partnerships Exposure to employer engagement, hiring coordination, or talent placement preferred. Comfortable interacting with industry partners and representatives from government agency. Coaching & Candidate Support Experience supporting candidates with resumes, interview preparation, or career coaching is highly valued. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build candidate confidence. Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Data-driven mindset with attention to detail in tracking pipelines. Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Nice to Have Background in cybersecurity, tech training, or workforce development. Familiarity with Singapore hiring ecosystem and early-career talent pipelines.
