Must be capable to lead workers and guide them on the work process. Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items Lay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels and squares to ensure accuracy. Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels and squares to ensure patterns are even and precise Cut, install, polish and surface granite and marble and ensure accuracy during the installation process for lasting results Prepare various surfaces for tiling with waterproofing material or lath and by cleaning the surfaces properly Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying and setting mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms Tap tiles into place carefully using tools to properly adhere tiles to the base, making sure not to break or damage tiles Follow blueprints precisely and mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled to determine how to go about jobs Ensuring teams work together to deliver quality work to strict deadlines. Monitoring renovation processes, and providing materials and team building sessions are required. Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times. Cut tiles and shape them properly to ensure they fit around obstacles and in tight corners and odd spaces using power and hand tools Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar utilizing tools such as screeds, brushes and trowels. Manage, coordinate the administration works with workers. Loading & Unloading of material/products Prepare Delivery of goods to customers Any other ad-hoc duties assigned Prepare Delivery of goods to construction sites on time. Able to work alternate sunday if needed.
