Lead M&A and corporate advisory origination, execution, and client relationship management. Build and expand transaction pipelines through strategic partnerships and business development. Manage end-to-end M&A transactions, including valuation, financial modelling, due diligence, negotiations, and closing. Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders across clients, advisors, and internal teams. Define departmental strategy, business plans, KPIs, and revenue objectives. Establish governance framework, policies, and operating procedures for the M&A function. Drive cross-border M&A initiatives and collaboration across the Resona Group. Provide market, industry, and investment insights to support strategic decision-making. Lead, mentor, and develop the Consulting & M&A team. Ensure all M&A advisory and corporate advisory activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with the Securities And Futures Act and all other applicable laws and regulatory requirements in connection with the advisory activities conducted by the Department. Requirements Degree in any related field At least 5 years of experience in M&A brokerage business Proficient in written and spoken Japanese, as the role requires regular communication with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and management at the Head Office, where Japanese is used as the primary working language for business coordination and meetings.
