Senior Finance Executive

Main Responsibilities: Ensure monthly closing accuracy, reporting requirements and deadlines are met Prepare monthly management report, financial analysis and audit schedules Preparation/reconciliation of monthly products P&L for retail business in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and China Preparation of the Group consolidated financial statements Preparation and submission of tax matters including GST Verification / posting of trade invoices and preparationof related parties transaction schedules Ensure compliance with both US GAAP and local Accounting Standards Work with external auditors, resolving any accounting or tax related issues Work with finance to supports cheduling of annual budget preparation and review process in line with HQ Management Group and Board schedule Overseas and keep track of inventory level Perform other ad-hoc assignments and administrativeduties as directed by the HQ Group Financial Controller Requirements: The individual should have the following experience: Degree in Accounting or equivalent At least 5 years of financial or accounting experience and demonstrated leadership skills Prior audit, retail experience and SFRS / IFRS knowledgeis an advantage Experience in Consolidation and/or Management reporting will be highly favourable Ability to plan, organize a large volume of activity committed and capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines Intermediate to advanced computer software skills,including Excel and accounting systems Hands on experience with Xero will be an advantage Hands on, independent, self-motivated and committed with sense of urgency Experience working in a highly complex environment andable to undertake manual processes Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin is a must
