RightKey Partners is partnering with a well-established international tanker owner and operator to appoint a Commercial Operations Executive based in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic commercial team, supporting the end-to-end execution of tanker voyages while collaborating closely with charterers, brokers, vessel operators and internal stakeholders. It is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is looking to build a long-term career within commercial shipping. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate the commercial and operational execution of tanker voyages from fixture through completion. • Liaise with charterers, brokers, agents, terminals, vessel masters and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth voyage execution. • Prepare voyage instructions, shipping documentation and operational reports. • Monitor vessel schedules, cargo operations and port activities to ensure efficient turnaround. • Support post-fixture activities, including laytime calculations, demurrage and claims administration where required. • Maintain accurate voyage records and ensure timely communication across all parties. • Work closely with the Commercial, Operations and Finance teams to resolve operational issues and optimise voyage performance. • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company procedures and industry regulations. • Assist with commercial reporting, market analysis and other ad hoc projects as required. What We're Looking For • 1-5 years of experience in tanker operations, commercial operations or post-fixture within the shipping industry. • Good understanding of tanker voyage operations and shipping documentation. • Exposure to charter parties, laytime and voyage calculations would be advantageous. • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Business or a related discipline is advantageous.
