Application Developer

Job Summary You will design, develop, and maintain Java backend systems, leveraging expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, and microservices architecture. You will integrate APIs using MuleSoft, implement authentication with Okta, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS to deliver scalable, secure solutions. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Java backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x to deliver robust and scalable services Design, build, and support microservices and REST/GraphQL APIs to enable seamless system integrations Implement authentication and authorization workflows using Okta to ensure secure access control Integrate APIs and services using MuleSoft to streamline data flow and connectivity across platforms Deploy and manage applications on AWS services including ECS, EC2, and RDS to ensure high availability and performance Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate and standardize cloud infrastructure provisioning Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, AWS Code Commit, and Code Pipeline to accelerate software delivery Write and optimize SQL queries for Oracle and other relational databases to support application data needs Monitor system health and performance using Grafana and AWS CloudWatch to proactively address issues Preferred competencies and qualifications 8+ years of experience in Java backend development 3+ years of experience with Okta for authentication/authorization 3+ years of experience with MuleSoft for API integration
