Sales Manager

A Sales Manager is responsible for leading and guiding a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue targets, expand customer base, and drive business growth. This role involves strategic planning, performance management, and close collaboration with marketing and leadership teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to improve performance Set sales targets, quotas, and KPIs for team members Monitor sales metrics and prepare regular performance reports Identify new market opportunities and customer segments Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align strategies Oversee the sales pipeline, forecasting, and budgeting Conduct regular training and coaching sessions for team members Handle escalated client issues and ensure customer satisfaction Requirements & Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce CRM, HubSpot) Ability to analyze sales metrics and market trends Customer-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills Time management and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in the relevant industry (e.g., tech, retail, finance) Familiarity with sales forecasting and budgeting Experience managing remote or regional sales teams Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Revenue growth and target achievement Sales conversion rates Customer acquisition and retention rates Team performance and productivity Pipeline growth and forecast accuracy
