Cleaning Services Manager Job Summary The Cleaning Services Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and supervising cleaning operations across multiple sites. The role ensures that cleaning services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in accordance with client requirements, company standards, and regulatory guidelines. The manager oversees manpower deployment, operational performance, customer satisfaction, and compliance with workplace safety and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and manage daily cleaning operations across multiple client sites. Supervise and lead cleaning supervisors and cleaning staff to ensure high service standards. Develop work schedules, manpower deployment plans, and shift arrangements. Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Liaise with clients to address operational issues, service requests, and customer feedback. Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), environmental, and company policies. Monitor staff attendance, performance, productivity, and provide coaching where necessary. Recruit, train, and evaluate cleaning personnel. Manage inventory of cleaning chemicals, equipment, consumables, and uniforms. Prepare operational reports, incident reports, and performance documentation. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for equipment maintenance and service support. Develop and implement cost-effective cleaning procedures to improve operational efficiency. Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and used safely. Investigate service complaints and implement corrective actions promptly. Support business development by participating in site surveys and preparing operational proposals. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Business Management, Facilities Management, Operations Management, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of managerial experience in the cleaning, facilities management, or environmental services industry. Strong leadership and people management skills. Good knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, equipment, and industry best practices. Familiarity with Singapore cleaning industry standards and regulations. Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple sites and work under pressure.
