Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement business development strategies to increase revenue and market share. Identify and secure new customers for freight transport and logistics services. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, transport partners and key stakeholders. Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and manage commercial agreements. Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to identify business opportunities. Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction. Prepare business proposals, sales presentations and management reports. Develop pricing strategies and monitor competitor activities. Participate in client meetings, networking events and industry exhibitions. Ensure compliance with company policies and Singapore regulations. Lead and mentor business development staff to achieve sales targets. Perform other duties assigned by management. Requirements Master's Degree or equivalent (preferred). At least 5 years of experience in business development, logistics, transportation or freight forwarding. Strong negotiation, communication and client management skills. Proven ability to secure new business and manage key accounts. Good understanding of freight transport, logistics operations and supply chain management. Excellent leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems. Able to work independently and travel for business meetings when required.
