Logistics Project Manager – Roles & Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Execution Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end logistics projects Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget 2. Supply Chain Coordination Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams Ensure smooth flow of goods from origin to destination 3. Budget & Cost Control Prepare and manage project budgets Monitor logistics costs and identify cost-saving opportunities Ensure efficient utilization of resources 4. Stakeholder Management Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders Provide regular project updates and reports Handle issues, escalations, and client expectations 5. Risk Management Identify potential risks in logistics operations Develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions Ensure compliance with local and international regulations 6. Process Improvement Analyze logistics processes and implement improvements Enhance efficiency, reduce delays, and optimize supply chain performance Implement best practices and new technologies 7. Team Leadership Lead and supervise logistics teams and project staff Assign tasks and monitor team performance Provide training and support where necessary 8.
