Software Engineer (Automation)

Responsibilities Designing and programming software for automated manufacturing equipment. Involves PC-based programming, troubleshooting systems, and maintaining legacy code. Designing and writing software for automation control, motion controllers, and vision systems. Reviewing, debugging, and improving existing legacy code. Diagnosing and fixing software or system issues on deployed, installed equipment. Liaising with customers to gather requirements and create technical specifications. Writing user manuals and technical reports outlining software functionality.
