Role Overview As a Logistics Intern , you will gain hands-on experience in healthcare logistics, cold-chain handling, inventory management, and end-to-end supply chain operations. Working closely with our logistics team, you will ensure our medical devices and products are stored, tracked, and distributed seamlessly across our retail outlets, partner pharmacies, and direct customers while adhering to strict local healthcare standards. Key Responsibilities Order Fulfillment & Distribution: Assist in daily order processing, picking, packing, labeling, and preparing medical devices for dispatch to retail showrooms, partner clinics, and direct consumers. Inventory Control & Audit: Perform regular stock takes, cycle counts, and reconciliation between physical warehouse stock and the ERP/inventory system. Cold-Chain & Storage Management: Help monitor and log temperature/humidity storage conditions for sensitive healthcare products (e.g., test kits, monitors) to preserve product integrity. Warehouse Support & Stock Transfers: Coordinate stock movements between central storage, retail showrooms, and partner outlets (e.g., Guardian, clinics). Maintain batch and serial number traceability. Compliance & Standards: Assist in maintaining clean, organized storage facilities in accordance with Singapore HSA guidelines and GDPMDS (Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices) standards. Shipping Documentation & Freight Support: Help prepare shipping orders, delivery dockets, customs clearance paperwork, and track local/regional courier shipments. Process Improvement: Participate in ad-hoc supply chain optimization projects and administrative tasks assigned by the Logistics Manager. Requirements & Qualifications Education: Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related discipline. Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for inventory tracking and data analysis). Familiarity with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus. Key Traits: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive, eager-to-learn attitude. Adaptability: Comfortable working across both office and showroom/warehouse environments. Ability to handle light physical tasks associated with stock handling.
