Technical Superintendent (Owner Representative)

Responsibilities Deploy preventive actions and lead incident investigations to enhance fleet HSE culture Ensure vessels comply continuously with all Class, Flag State, and statutory regulations Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance processes to meet company standards Monitor and maintain maintenance OPEX budgets to control costs effectively Participate in defining the annual maintenance budget aligned with operational needs Collaborate monthly with Cost Controller and Vessel Manager to control maintenance expenses Conduct annual technical inspections of allocated vessels to ensure operational readiness Manage and provide hierarchical leadership to Chief Engineers across the fleet Required competencies and certifications Thorough knowledge of ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC, and STCW standards Proficiency in CMMS tools and maintenance procedures for fleet management Ability to analyze, investigate, and lead technical projects to resolution Functional coordination and project management skills to drive maintenance initiatives Leadership, priority management, attention to detail, and pedagogical skills to guide teams Certificate of Competency Class 1/2/3 Chan Chee Meng EA 07C3069/R1110620
